The Kent RC Association is a model aircraft club based in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, New Brunswick, dedicated to radio-controlled flying. We provide facilities and community support for enthusiasts of model aviation, fostering both recreational and competitive RC flying in the region.
Founded by hobbyists in Kent County, the Kent RC Association serves as a local hub for RC aviation enthusiasts. The club operates a designated flying field at 253 Chemin Haut St-Antoine, offering members a safe, controlled environment to build, test, and fly their model aircraft. Our mission centres on promoting aeromodelling as a creative and educational pastime.
We regularly organize events such as fun-fly gatherings, flight demonstrations, and skill-building sessions. Members share expertise in model building, flight operations, and radio control systems. New pilots receive mentorship and safety instruction, ensuring responsible flying practices under MAAC guidelines.
As one of the key RC clubs in southeastern New Brunswick, the Kent RC Association plays an important role in sustaining interest in aviation technology and hands-on engineering. Our programs help bridge generations of hobbyists, linking traditional model building with modern electric and drone technologies.
To promote the safe and enjoyable practice of radio control flying, to provide a welcoming space for pilots of all ages and skill levels, and to foster a spirit of camaraderie and mutual support within our community.
Our club is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who keep things going year after year.
